I’m not going to lie to you, this one is a bit of a blur. We were in Paris between Hellfest and Rammstein, so were in full festival mode. There was definitely metal played all night (Bartender seemed to really like August Burns Red), and it was really busy. Again, this is between Hellfest and Rammstein and there were a million people from out of town, so I’m not sure if this is average.
The beer selection was decent and they had good prices, from what I remember, and they had Cuvée des Trolls on tap so that made me happy. They also had a Finnish IPA on tap which seems pretty random. You just never know what you’re going to find.
Like in much of France, the glass wear is actually plastic. Did I acquire one of these for my collection? You know I did!
Also of note, they do the thing where they ring a bell when they get a tip, so you can feel like a big spender.
