June 2018 – 17 Manette Street, Soho, London, England
This was the first bar we went to our first time in London, before we became Camden converts. I don’t remember much about the decor, but I do remember a diverse, odd, and very friendly crowd. My husband, being my husband, asked the guy next to us about Brexit. 😐 He was a really interesting guy, who it happens had just been released that week after fourteen years in prison. We also met a girl who had just moved there from Russia and commuted 2 hours each way into work each direction every day. She was the one that told us to check out Camden, and also a bar called Garlic and Shots, that we never got around to. Maybe next time.
On another note, I just figured out how to do emojis. 😎

Music wise they played mostly Alice in Chains and that sort of thing. Alice in Chains seems to be the second most common thing one hears in a metal bar, after Motorhead. I much prefer the Motorhead. They did play some Slayer later in the evening though.

They had lots of English craft, but also some Mexican and Icelandic craft in bottles. Sooooo, I just drank that. Because English beer is the worst.
