June 2017- Blågårdsgade 2A, 2200 København, Denmark

This is kind of weird, but neither my husband nor I can remember ANYTHING about this bar. The only reason I even remember we went there is that we joked about what an odd name it is. I only took photos of my beers, so no clues there either.

I’ve looked it up and it seems like a cool dive bar with good decor, so I have no idea why it made so little impression. The only thing I wrote in Untappd is that it’s not the Swan, but it will do. Well, nothing is the Swan so that isn’t saying much. (More on the Swan someday. Saving the best for last. 🖤)

Obviously they have local craft beer, so that couldn’t have been a factor. I’m at a loss.

Perhaps it has something to with the fact that we were so blown away by Copenhell festival, our reason for being in town, and Copenhagen itself that the bar got lost in the background?

Copenhell was the best festival I’ve been to so far. It was so well run and laid out, no lineups, easy to get to, and had the best beer gardens with live band karaoke. The walk from our hotel near Tivoli was about an hour and took us through a gorgeous park. So since I don’t have much more to say about the bar, here’s another photo of the festival. 😁

In addition to Copenhell being so sweet, Copenhagen is arguably my favourite city in Europe thus far. So here is me loving life at Nyhavn. Maybe someday I can go back and see what this bar was all about!

Loving life at Nyhavn!

And here is a picture of me drinking beer on a pirate ship, cause that’s pretty metal.

Cheers!
