This is the first bar I’ve actually been to since I started this blog! So, that means I got to choose what to take photos of instead of pulling them from Untappd. And you know what? It was really hard! I had no idea what to photograph. I mean obviously the Triceratops (that is a Triceratops, right?), but beyond that I was at a loss.
Soooo, here is a picture of the bar.
This bar is in my city, Edmonton. Not quite a metal bar, as you can see from their name they say they play alt rock, but currently it’s the closest thing we have so we go here quite a bit. It’s also just a few blocks from my house. They usually play Alice in Chains. Like half the time I’m there I would say they are playing Alice in Chains. Queens of the Stone Age are another popular one. One time we were there on a Sunday afternoon and they played the whole Master of Puppets album. That was sweet. Bars are always better in the afternoon.

It was obviously pretty empty. It filled up later though as they had a burlesque show. They do a lot of events here, like bands, trivia, and comedy nights etc.
They always have movies playing with the sound off. You can see the reflection of Anchorman in this Danzig poster.
They have a bunch of Millstreet beers on tap, plus my personal favourite trash beer Lucky Lager is always on special. They also have a few local micros in cans or bottles. And I didn’t think to take any beer photos, so I still had to use one from Untappd! I’ll figure this out one of these days.
